What is NDRIN?

NDRIN, or North Dakota Recorders Information Network is an organization of North Dakota Counties that have grouped together in order to send their real estate records to one central location for internet hosting, backup and archiving.

How do I access NDRIN?

You may access NDRIN through the internet with the address of “www.ndrin.com”. You will to need register with NDRIN and purchase a subscription in order to purchase and print documents on ndrin.com.

What specific documents are available on ndrin.com?

The documents available on ndrin.com typically include but not limited to the following.
  • Real Estate Records
  • Mineral Leases, Rights and Deeds (Including Oil and Gas)
  • Land Plats
  • Corner Records

How do I register with NDRIN?

You may register on NDRIN through ND Recorders Information Network | Home Page (ndrin.com). Click the Join Today link. 

What does NDRIN cost?

To become a registered user, there is a $30 charge which gives you access to NDRIN for 30-days from the date of purchase. Once registered, the charges are re-occurring and the subscription will need to be manually cancelled if you do not wish to be charged again. There is also a $1 per page cost if you choose to print documents from ndrin.com, you may preview an unlimited number of documents at no charge.

A day pass option is available for $7.00. This will provided the same benefits at the 30 day pass, but access will expire 24 hours after purchase. The day pass option will not renew automatically. 

How do I pay for NDRIN registration and printing?

Major credit and debit cards are accepted such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Checks and other forms of payment are not accepted and there are no plans to include other forms of payment.

Which counties have documents available on ndrin.com?

50 North Dakota Counties are members of NDRIN. Use this link to see which Counties are NDRIN members.

How often are NDRIN records updated?

 NDRIN is updated every Monday through Friday before 12pm CST excluding holidays.

How do we know what date documents are verified (validated) to?

Verification of documents depends upon the workflow of the individual county. Contact that County's Recorder Office for document availability, use this link for County Recorder Contact Information.

Can we use NDRIN to prepare an Abstract of Title?

While we strive to make NDRIN as complete and accurate as possible, we caution against using NDRIN to prepare Abstracts of Title.

The County I am looking at hasn’t put any new documents on ndrin.com for quite some time, this doesn’t seem right.

You may retrieve a new password or your username by using this link.

May I have more than one user per account?

No. The standard is one user per account. Each account is $30 for 30-days of access along with a fee of $1 per-page printed. Each account requires a unique email address.

I cannot find the document(s) I’m looking for on ndrin.com, yet I know it exists. What should I do?

Some Counties use a special search technique. Check the County Information page under ND Recorders to see if they require special search criteria. Use this link for a listing of County search techniques. If you are still unable to locate documents, email support@ndrin.com or call 701-364-1280.

I found a document on ndrin.com that I believe is erroneous.

I am having difficulty searching for documents on ndrin.com.

May I preview a document before it’s printed?

Yes, you are able to preview an unlimited amount of documents that are available on ndrin.com. If you are unsure of how to do this, use this link.

I’m downloading a very large document from ndrin.com, how long should this take?

On a typical broadband connection, the download of a very large document should take no more than 20 minutes.

I read the user manual on how to preview documents on ndrin.com, but I am still unable to do so.

In order to correctly use ndrin.com the computer you are using is required to have the following programs installed with a version no less than the one listed. Use the following links for more product information and product download.

I have these programs installed to view documents, along with a version the same or greater than one listed. How do I resolve this?

Contact your local IT Department or an IT Service Provider.

Are internet browsers such as Firefox or Chrome supported by ndrin.com?

NDRIN works well on Google Chrome.

Why am I charged to print to my own printer?

Under N.D.C.C. § 11-18-05(3) a county recorder may charge for non-certified copies of recorded documents up to one dollar per page. For more information, please visit this link. While we are not a government agency, we are contracted by the counties to provide a service. The copy charge helps to maintain the website.

Are Wills available on ndrin.com?

Wills are confidential documents that are not, and will not be available on ndrin.com.

The ndrin.com webpage is not being displayed correctly, how may I resolve this?

What are NDRIN Support hours?

I have a concern about billing, whom do I contact?

I wish to cancel my subscription to ndrin.com, how do I do this?

After logging onto your account go to to Shopping tab and go to Manage Subscription on the navigation bar. Click on cancel subscription then follow the on screen prompts. Your account will remain active until your renewal date.

I'm uncomfortable sending my credit/debit card information over the internet, are there alternative payment options available?

No. NDRIN only accepts major debit or credit cards and there no alternative forms of payment. NDRIN staff are not allowed to take credit or debit card information over the phone or any alternative forms of payment.

What are the accepted font sizes on a recorded document?
